If you did not get a chance to, see yesterdays post by clicking here and take part in that discussion.
Today, we have two verses to read, meditate, and discuss:
Proverbs 28:25 -He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat
Proverbs 28:27 - He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many acurse.

Once again, I was reminded of just how important the condition of our heart is when it comes to this issue of Stewardship. If we thought that we were having health problems with our heart, we would go immediately to the doctor to get it checked out because we know how important it is to life and long living. Yet, how many of us have a spiritual illness in our spiritual heart, yet ignore it every day and wonder why we suffer? While unhealthy foods may be the biggest enemy of our physical heart, pride is the biggest enemy to our spiritual hearts. And it is often our pride that leads us astray from the paths of good stewardship that God has called us to.
At YouVersion, you were encouraged to read and pray about specific ways that you could live this out. WHAT IS ONE THAT YOU HAVE COME UP WITH?
